Queensland Historical Atlas

The Queensland Historical Atlas is a new conception of Queensland's cultural and environmental history presented through a set of fourteen themes. It contains high-quality scans of historical maps, photos, objects and peer reviewed essays. It is a referreed online journal.

This project was developed in conjunction with our communications partner, Niche Consultants.

We were involved with:

• designing the digital repository for the maps, photos, artwork, objects, audio and video
• designing the user interface
• graphic design of the look-and-feel
• web site production using Drupal
  
• configuring the web hosting and optimising its performance.

The project was coordinated and managed by Marion Stell from the University of Queensland.
